Here would be a good place to discuss how this thing's supposed to work.

I think there should be a clear seperation between what's being chucked about as ideas to be molded, what's being worked on and added to, and what's possibly finished.
I also feel strongly that nothing should be finished until EVERYONE agrees that it's finished. Finished is a big word. Like disestablishmentarianism. It shouldn't be taken lightly.
Anyway, yup.

1. So in the description for tracks we should put "IN PROGRESS" or something. We could even use BOLD, CAPITALIZED LETTERS there just to make it explicitly clear, like sand paper.
2. I was wondering also if there should we should keep one another informed when we're working with a track. Otherwise there could be two people going in opposite directions from the same starting point. Which can be a good thing, but in the interest of trying to get anything finished...
3. We've already established that there should be one person "in charge" for any given track. That person will be:
-- the track's originator if the original track is being used as a solid foundation for subsequent work.
-- someone else if the original track is just being used within a different work (as in the case of drum loops and things that are used as a starting point.) In these cases there will need to be a decision made on a case-by-case basis.

Solid..... I'm sure along the way, there will be other work-a-rounds, organizational and arrangement issues but this is a good beginning.

Absorbed by Kingo? Hey, that's cool, we all need to get on the same wavelength anyway. Or at least be vibrating at the same frequency.
Bold is good. I was thinking of seperate folders for different things, too. Doesn't matter, I'm sure a system will come about somehow.
Other than us this is important for those peeps who might perhaps someday come and listen to the stuff here; they'll need to be able to navigate through our mess.
I was changed to alternative not so long ago - had to get Tameas to change me back.
This is gonna be good!

I see it now!
I agree with that top thing Evil said. But also, perhaps, putting Two categories up: (One) for done (Two) for not done.

If the songs are being done to a click track or time, it helps me to know the timing because i dont have outboard gear, i run 99% of my stuff via samples. so bpm helps me.

tuning and key might also be helpful

I doni't do any of those things, with time or key.
That is to say anything I've done so far hasn't been to a click, and the tuning is... something. So that's helpful.
I like being helpful.
